Lens Lust

I fall victim to camera lens lust on a fairly
regular basis but NEVER quite this badly.
The following pics are shot with a pretty HOT little
piece of glass that runs about 7,000 bucks.

SEE...with a $7,000 lens you can capture a shot series
in which your FABULOUS kid does a GREAT stick and steal
then proceeds on to runaway with the ball and fire off
a monstrous kick worthy of a MLS magazine cover.

OMG...would someone please wipe the drool off my chin.

Like I said, stick and steal...now for the run...

He's in the air here. FREAKIN' amazing...

Pike Fest - Runner's Up

We're still not over the ringers brought in by
the other team...uh, they were...girls.
The pony tail ringers were TOUGH.
#17 BROKE her wrist DURING the game.
INSISTED on playing through with her arm
visibly swelling as she stuck it out for
20 more minutes to score the winning goal
after two overtimes. She was rushed off the field
to the hospital, needless to say.
Overall, two good days of tournament play.
Being runners up...not so bad.
Our very own #16 was awesome both
on the field and in the goal. He did a good
job fighting off those ponytails. ;)

Fall Fusion Tournament - #6 Eli Schantz

Two days of Tournament Play and some
great action shots. Our coaches are happy
with #6 as he's playing hard and using his size
but still running it fast. Westfield Select did a great job!

Uh...ooops...hands off Eli!

GOAL! TOOR!

The Double Header

Our little Soccer Man, working hard!

Our Goalie getting ready to kick it in...
Check out his tongue.

Giving it all he's got...still with the tongue.

There she goes!

Here's our Goalie covering the net.

What a save!

He's all over it. Nobody is getting a foot on that ball!

Down and Dirty making the stop!
They were playing these giant-normous kids
who kept kickin' when Eli already had gotten the ball!
His dad was SO MAD. Eli defended well and didn't get hurt.
