Our Goalie getting ready to kick it in... Check out his tongue.
Giving it all he's got...still with the tongue.
There she goes!
Here's our Goalie covering the net.
What a save!
He's all over it. Nobody is getting a foot on that ball!
Down and Dirty making the stop! They were playing these giant-normous kids who kept kickin' when Eli already had gotten the ball! His dad was SO MAD. Eli defended well and didn't get hurt.
Isaac REALLY likes his new booster! Now he can sit at the bar (okay island) with his brother and have snack while Eli does homework. They love being together and I'm so glad. I think God may have given me a BIG chunk of my heaven, right here now on earth with my sweet boys and their wonderful daddy! Thanks Lord!
Eli had this tooth JUST HANGING in there for weeks! He finally worked up the nerve to let momma pull it and it was an AWFUL mean tooth...it hurt BAD, it took forever to come out AND it bled a lot! Poor Us! Eli was a trooper and then he was so relieved that it was over, he got a little slap-happy...
SO, after the VERY spoiled riders had massages to rejuvenate their oh-so-tired muscles, we had a nummy lunch at the riders tent and went to see some animals.
At the zoo, we went to a great concert sponsored by Radio Disney featuring a band called Everlife. where we rocked out!
Then we cooled off and played at The Enchanted Mill...
THEN...WE SAW... Lions and...
Tigers and...
Bears...OH MY!
We had a great day and got some fantastic pictures. Here's some of our favorites!
We ended our day with dinner and a special show where we got soaked by this dolphin! This was Isaac's favorite part. He's still talking about it! He keeps saying, "Dolf--Fin" We wish you all could have been there!
Here's pics from our "Wild Ride 2006" with The Indianapolis Zoo. Matt and Eli had a GREAT time riding the 15 mile and Gus and I felt very important being the unofficial SAG vehicle for Team Schantz! Their route began at the zoo and went over to The Speedway where it included a lap around the famous track. Then they headed back to the zoo where we spent the rest of the day! AMAZING family fun! They're planning on do the 40 mile next year!
The Halfway Rest Stop at The Track! --Where both of my camera batteries went dead...:( It was okay though because I charged in the truck. The fellas look REALLY happy in these pics because they had icecream at the snack shack and I had brought apples, yogurt and pancakes from McDonalds. They were glad to see Gus and Me!
On the phone with Nana letting her know we made it halfway safely! She must be saying something funny! Look at those cheesy grins!

I think it is a flower garden; she thinks it is a meadow lacking grass, and tries to correct the error. ~Sara Stein, My Weeds, 1988
Crazy curly-haired mom living as the only exception in an all male household. Living life out of the car running busy boys everywhere, trying to keep or get everybody healthy, happy, fed, and quasi-educated. Totally in love with the whole giant MESS of it all and my main guy and co-conspirator husband, Matt. 16 years of marriage, two boys, a large dog, a love of God Almighty, a passion for Special Education and all things creative...I blog out our lives in a desperate attempt to hold on to every little piece and savor each miraculously messy moment.
