You'll hafta forgive us...it's a really long story and not that
interesting BUT the short version is this...
We had Thanksgiving at home this year...I was sick.
We spent the next few weeks taking tons of pictures and
having lots of meaningful family moments over the course of the
holiday season. We also got ready to host Isaac's 3rd birthday
and Christmas at our house. Blogging was delayed BUT we were
excited cuz we had SO MANY great pictures.
January...The laptop, along with ALL OF OUR PICTURES
for three whole entire months...died. We invest time in
recovery to no avail. This takes weeks...February arrives...
middle of the month, Eli gets the stomach flu, horrible
mess, mass chaos...days later, Isaac develops a vicious case
of pink-eye for 10 days...right on the heels of that
WE ALL DEVELOP FLU-flu...even the
dog was sick and yes, we had our shots which was
why it was "mild' as the doctor called it. We had a short break
over Easter and that was lovely...
THEN...WE ALL GET THE STOMACH FLU!
At this point, I'm ready to burn the house down and start
over to try and get rid of whatever demon germs are on the
rampage here but Matt is discouraging that idea.
We've lost many beautiful pictures and hate not being able
to share them with you...we are comforted with our memories
and the fact that we're back in the land of the living and can now
take up our favorite past-time of picture taking and blogging.
We're sorry! Forgive us!
